Report on Ordinance No. 13 of 1905.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance to amend the Regulation of Chinese Ordinance 1883" and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

The object of this Ordinance is to empower the Governor-in-Council to extend the provisions of Part III of the Regulation of Chinese Ordinance 1883 to any portion of the Colony as occasion may require.
